“…Remember me
When the children leave
their Sunday school with smiles
Remember me
When they’re old enough to teach
Old enough to preach
Old enough to leave”

  1. Thank you for sharing this picture. Lovely.

  2. Rex, just a hug and few tears to go along with your memory … I’m glad you honor your precious son with this picture and share with your friends the blessing that He is even today. What he might have been is not nearly so important as what he is today … more blessed than any of us … safe in the arms of Jesus. Love to you and your family as you remember.

  3. I don’t know you but I know your thoughts on the day your precious son left this world. I just commemorated my son’d 3rd angel date on July 28th. He was 20. Peace and continued grace to you and your family.

  4. Brother Rex,

The picture shown here emphasizes the truth of your deep, heartfelt and everlasting love; and it is a glorious and wonderful confirmation of the pure truth of God’s word. God is love. Even though we don’t always understand,
    Love never ceases…

“Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Cor. 13:12-13).

God is Love: “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” (1 John 4:8).

    Grace and Peace,

    Don Cole

  5. Many prayers to you. Thank you for your heart, rex.

  6. That was very touching, Rex. I’m sorry that you had to go through such an experience.

  7. So sorry you had to go through this. My heartfelt sympathies and prayers go out to you and your family.
