God is at Work Among the Kandiyohi Church of Christ

Last night at the American Inn in Hutchinson several of us from the Kandiyohi Church of Christ gathered at the side of the pool to witness a lady be baptized into Jesus Christ.  This woman, a mother and husband, had been reading the Bible with a couple of other ladies from the congregation and she finally decided that she wanted to committ her life to God and accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.  Her neighbor, who also has been participating in the Bible reading, was baptized into Jesus Christ a few months ago.  What a beautiful evening it was.

It is this easy!  When people of God decide to participate in the mission of God as we all have been called too, the redemptive gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives and the Kingdom of God expands.  God is great!  We are but just a bunch of clay jars.  Yet, God chooses to use us as we participate in his mission to become his hands and feet to the suffering, hurting, and lost.  Then Living Hope becomes hope for another person.  What a joy it is to be a part of this mission and too see God at work in powerful ways.

  1. That’s great news! I’ve shared your experience as we’ve had four baptisms here in the past few months. There hadn’t been any others for a few years, with the exception of one son of some members.

  2. God is at work in many communities across the nation and across the world. Praise God for what he is doing in Minnesota, New Jersey, and elsewhere!

  4. Good to see God working in this world.
