Ryan’s Hope

I’ve had a very busy week but ext week I’ll return to my blog series Christianity and Gender.  In the mean time…

I want to share a link to this testimony by Ryan Woods.  Ryan, along with his wife Jessica, are church planters in Vancouver, WA (suburb of Portland, OR) but last year Ryan was diagnosed with cancer.  Since then, his cancer has continued to spread and Ryan, in his own words, knows the likelihood is that he is dying from cancer.  Yet his testimony is such a voice of hope that speaks of the power of Jesus’ resurrection.  If you want to know what hope sounds like in the midst of suffering then read Ryan’s testimony “Hope in the Face of New Tumors” (just click on that link).  Please pray for Ryan and his wife Jessica!
